I found this quote jotted hastily in blue marker on the back of a letter in my jewelry box. I love being surpised by random things I tuck away and forget about.

“The essense of forgiveness lies in understanding that there is really nothing to forgive. No one has harmed you nor can they ever harm you. Everything is a reminder to let go and trust God.”

I don’t have many words right now. I’m hoping whoever reads these words will feel blessed and take some moments to reflect on their journey.

Life is brief.

I think I need to trust God more, cause I have a major thorn in my side that I’ve been trying to pull out for a few years now…it won’t budge yet…What is God trying to show me in all of this, is my question. I do need to let go and trust God, the thing is me trying to pull the thorn out, gives me hope that it will come out, but when I stop pulling, I feel the pain of the thorn…and the loss of control, apparently right where God wants me to be. Such a hard, but necessary lesson. Thanks for your post, it reminds me to let go, and trust my never failing, always the same, faithful and almighty God.
