In awe I sit.

Your thoughts too lofty ~
Words too high,
For me to speak.

You grant and give,
Take and sieve
Out what is unneeded.

Let the necessary speak,
Your truth so simple that
Children understand.

But we build walls and
Stick heads in sand.
Blinders on
And we see what we want…
Manufacturing truth
Producing new~aged notions and
Misleading love potions.

But your way is clear…
Simple, so simple
To follow.
But such a large boulder
Causing stumbling
When we wallow
In our own strength.

I am in awe of you.
I sit back perplexed.
So simple.
So immense
is God.

Philippians 4:13
