Trust and obey.

“Love God,

and he will dwell with you.

Obey God,

and he will reveal to you

the truth of His deepest teaching.”

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hey Stephanie,

I love this Chapter! There’s so much “food for thought” / meditation.

I think Paul is referencing Hosea 13:14 (I wonder if the early church’s manuscripts were all more beautifully worded…? It seems that way whenever they’re referencing an OT verse…), but Acts 28:3-6 comes more to mind, for me: where Paul shakes off the “lethal” snake after it bites him, after it fastens itself to him.

And Jesus *becoming* sin–taking the “sting” out of sin’s “bite” for us–as the “snake on the pole”, and 2nd Corinthians 5:21, and…

God knows how to speak to my love of beautifully-worded truth. 🙂

Thanks for the quote too.

Frederick Robertson is able to say what he means much more refreshingly succinct than me…! :p

Keep up the great blog/work 🙂

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is important and everything.

However think about if you added some great pictures or videos to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this site could definitely be one of the very
best in its niche. Excellent blog!

It is appropriate time to make some plans for the long run and it is time to be happy.

I have read this publish and if I may just I wish to
counsel you few interesting things or advice. Perhaps you could write
subsequent articles regarding this article. I desire to learn even more things
about it!

Thanks for every other great post. Where else may just anybody get that kind of information in such an ideal way
of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I’m at the search
for such info.

I don’t know what you’re looking for, but the library is always a good place to start.
