With so many distractions, interruptions and things fighting for our attention… Focus can seem fleeting. Balance feels elusive. Hope seems unreal…

But the truth is that God’s word is a rock to stand on.

I love this strong word describing God’s love –

Rock.

And others…

Anchor.

Refuge.

Strong tower.

Cornerstone.

That’s what the hope of a personal relationship with Jesus brings. Solid security of a life-long relationship.

Life is not without storms, without fear and without failure, but The Lord is holding His people steady. The promises speak to this.

I’m grateful for this undeserved gift of grace.

Hebrews 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for our souls, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary, behind the curtain where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever.
